red and green being co-opted by christmas is one of the worst things that’s ever happened in human history. there are only 2 pretty complementary color pairs and that’s one of them. it’s the earthiest of the complementary pairs, and can also be the eeriest. red and green does so much for us every day but you can’t use them together for anything or else everyone will go “it’s kinda christmassy.” it’s literally a tragedy. my bestfriends red and green don’t deserve that. it’s not their fault
